The Deacon's Bench: Eight weeks after the motu proprio, no groundswell for Latin

The hope of the liberal/left trecherous clergy was that the Tridentine Mass could be outbred by denying the the faithfull access to it,so those born since V2 would have no knowledge,no choice
The young my four children included,have shown little interest in the church since V2 which opponents of tradition claimed would revitalize church attendance and increase vocations to the religious life.
In my parish of St Johns Norwich England the church was thriving at the time before the "reforms" and yet with the obvious failure of the liberal schemes,the clergy here still refuse to recognise these,and now are stubborn in bringing the "Moto Propio" to the parish ,a sort of out of sight out of mind situation

After years/decades of the liberal/left clergy attacking and denouncing any part of the tradition of the Roman Catholic Church,we can rejoice that they havent succeeded,and that the truth of the Tridentine Mass has prevailed,and now his holiness the Pope asks that these clergyaccept with charity and goodwill the wishes of the many faithfull souls to celebrate this mass on a regular basis in every church and diocese with those who prefer the banal Norvo Ordo also catered for as current,but Im feared that "the left" rarely subscribe to democracy

Friday September the Fourteenth His Holiness The Pope has decreedthat The Tridentine Mass will be alloweded to be celebrated without the permission of the bishop in all Roman Catholic Churches world wide to heal the terrible wound that wasafflicted on so many catholics who held this rite in high esteem

No doubt the liberal/left of the clergy will resist with all their power that what was taken away should rightfull be restored

But its a time of great celebration for us all

I appeal to the clergy who betrayed the faithfull and themselves to have humility in their heartsand make space for a Sunday celebration ot the tridentine mass

Have it said and they will come

The weeks pass by so quickly,seemingly ever more so as you age.I have just wrestled with setting up my blog, me being a novice with the computer(just about 10 months) But now I post this first,but no doubt dull blog. I am a singer from boyhood starting as a treble in the choir of St John The Baptist Roman Catholic Church in 1942,but now a Cathedral of the Diocese of East Anglia I elevated to soloist eventually,and Ive been singing ever since,though not at St Johns as since the second vatican council the music of the church has taken a terrible hammering.Gigs for me nowadays are not so frequent,but I still gig two or three times a month Why not visit my Myspacepage www.myspace.com/albertcooper
